Q:  What kinds of comic books do you buy?

A:  We have purchased all kinds of comic book collections, from old comic books from the 1940s and 1950s, to comics from the 1960s and 70s, and 80s, to more modern comics published in the last twenty years.  We will consider any collection.

Q: If I contact you, am I obligated to sell to you?

A: Not at all.  They are your comics and you get to decide whether it is time to sell.  If the price isn't right, just say "no thanks."  No pressure.  No commitment.  No obligation.

Q: I don't have a big collection.  Will you still be interested?

A: Probably.  While we don't usually buy individual comic books, we will buy small collections of between 20 and 100 books all the time, so long as they include issues we are interested in.  Give us try.

Q: I have a big collection of comics exceeding 10,000 comic books.  Do you buy collections like that?

A: Yes.  You are not alone.  No collection is too big for us to consider.  Give us a try.

Q: My collection isn't organized or hasn't been stored in comic book bags or boxes.  Will you still consider it?

A: Yes.  We will consider any collection.

Q:  How much do you pay for collections?

A:  A lot of different factors go in to the price we can pay for a collection.  Some of those factors are:  (1) the collectibility of the comics (some are more sought-after than others), (2) the age of the comics, (3) the condition of the comics, (4) how big the collection is.  Every collection is unique and our prices are tailored to your collection.

Q:  What do you need to know about my collection?

A:  When you contact us the first time, all we need to know is a "best guess" as to how many comics you have.  Some people have a list of everything in their collection and sharing a list helps a lot.  But many people don't have a list, and if you don't, providing the names of a few of the comics in the collection will help get us started.  We will ask for more information and probably a couple of photographs of the collection later.

Q:  How long does the process take?

A:  Depending on your location and the size of your collection we can usually provide cash for your collection within a day or two of learning what is in your collection.

Q: Will you pick up my collection or will I have to send it to you?

A: It depends on your location.  If we can, we'll pick up the collection from you at your home or storage unit.  Many people prefer to meet us at a location other than their home--and we get that. Many police departments have areas set aside for security when making commercial transactions and we encourage using those.

Q:  What if I have to ship my collection?

A: We will make it easy for you.  We will send you the packaging materials you'll need, made specially for comic books, with simple instructions on how to package your comics up.  Postage will be prepaid and all you'll have to do put comics in boxes, seal and label the boxes with the materials and pre-paid labels we provide, and drop the boxes off at the local office of our shipping partner.

Q: What other options exist for selling my collection?  

A: There are a lot of other options.  We like our system, because it is simple.  Some people try to sell their collections on their own, either by selling comics out of their garage, selling comics through an auctioneer, on online auction sites, or finding other outlets for comic books.

Q: Will you provide me with an appraisal for insurance purposes?

A: Sorry, we don't provide appraisals.

Q: Do you buy all of the collections that are offered to you?

A: We wish we could, but we can't.  If your collection is just not right for us, we will let you know.

Q:  What is your privacy policy?

A:  We don't collect the personal information you provide (name, email, sometimes a phone number), except for purposes of reaching out to you to see if you want to sell your comics. We use Facebook pixel tracking to measure social media campaign efficiency related to the Facebook platform and to deliver ads on the Meta network of sites.  We use Google Adwords cookies to customize the advertising and content you see for our website, limit the number of ads you see for our website, and measure the effectiveness of our campaign. We use Google Adwords remarketing cookies to collect data about your activities when you visit our websites, the website of entities who serve our ads (advertisers), or the website and online services where we display ads.
